BasisPoint was founded in 2015 as BasisPoint Design Ltd., with a specialist focus on the alternative investment industry.
From the outset, the business was built around the communication challenges facing investment managers - translating complex strategies into sophisticated, clear and compelling investor communications.
What began with branding, pitch decks and websites for new fund launches steadily expanded through client referrals and long-term relationships.
Today, BasisPoint works across hedge funds, private equity, private credit, venture capital, real estate, impact investing, digital assets and crypto, supporting managers throughout their lifecycle - from emerging managers launching and raising their first fund to some of the world’s largest and most established institutional investment firms.
BEHIND THE NAME
The business was founded as BasisPoint Design Ltd., reflecting its original focus on specialist design for investment managers.
As our clients grew, so did the role they asked us to play.
By 2024, our work extended well beyond design into industry-led brand positioning, pitch strategy, PR, marketing collateral and content curation, websites and digital activation, investor portal infrastructure, reporting and online security.
We therefore became BasisPoint Group - a name that better reflects the breadth of expertise and services we provide today while retaining the specialist investment-industry focus on which the business was built.
